Fusion CX IPO: Company Plans to Repay 90% of Debt, Invest ₹65 Crore in AI

Fusion CX IPO: Company Plans to Repay 90% of Debt, Invest ₹65 Crore in AIFusion CX, a company specialising in AI-driven customer experience and business process outsourcing (BPO), plans to use a significant portion of its IPO proceeds to reduce debt, strengthen its artificial intelligence capabilities and fund future acquisitions.

According to Pankaj Dhanuka, Promoter, Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) and CEO, and Kishore Saraogi, Promoter, Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer (COO), the company aims to improve profitability while continuing to expand its business.

Fusion CX’s IPO opened for subscription on October 14, 2026, according to the provided report. The company’s management expects a combination of organic growth and acquisitions to support its expansion plans.

Fusion CX IPO: How Will the Company Use the Funds?

Fusion CX plans to allocate its IPO proceeds across debt repayment, AI investments and general corporate purposes, including acquisitions.

According to the management’s statements, the proposed allocation includes:

  • Debt repayment: Approximately ₹260–270 crore to repay more than 90% of the company’s debt.
  • AI investments: Around ₹65 crore for AI products and solutions.
  • Other purposes: The remaining proceeds for general corporate requirements and acquisitions.

The planned debt reduction could help lower interest expenses and support profitability. Meanwhile, investments in AI and acquisitions are intended to strengthen the company’s long-term business prospects.

Fusion CX Focuses on AI-Driven Customer Experience

Fusion CX provides customer experience services through multiple channels, including voice calls, email, chat, social media and back-office operations.

The company describes itself as an AI-first digital customer experience provider, with nearly 80% of its customers based in the United States and Canada.

Pankaj Dhanuka said the company has developed six proprietary AI products that are integrated into its customer offerings.

These solutions are intended to improve customer service operations and help businesses manage interactions more efficiently. The company plans to continue investing in its AI capabilities as demand for technology-enabled customer support increases.

Will AI Replace Human Customer Service Agents?

The growing adoption of artificial intelligence has raised concerns about its potential impact on traditional BPO jobs. However, Fusion CX management views AI as a tool that supports human agents rather than completely replacing them.

Kishore Saraogi explained that many enterprises continue to prefer a combination of human expertise and technology.

According to the management, AI-powered voice agents are currently used more frequently to redirect or resolve certain calls without human intervention than to replace every customer interaction.

This approach allows companies to automate routine tasks while retaining human support for complex issues that require judgment, empathy or specialised assistance.

Fusion CX Expects Growth From Acquisitions and Organic Expansion

Fusion CX has relied on acquisitions as an important part of its expansion strategy.

Management stated that approximately 60% of the company’s revenue growth between FY24 and FY26 came from acquisitions, while organic business expansion contributed the remaining 40%.

Going forward, the company expects growth to be divided more evenly between acquisitions and organic expansion, targeting a 50:50 mix.

Fusion CX has already completed one acquisition in the current financial year and expects to complete two additional acquisitions before the financial year ends, according to the report.

If executed successfully, this strategy could help the company expand its service offerings, strengthen its market presence and reach new customers.

Customer Concentration Remains an Important Factor

Fusion CX also discussed its dependence on a major customer, identified by management as a Fortune 10 telecommunications company in the United States.

The client has reportedly maintained a relationship with Fusion CX for nearly two decades and currently contributes around 30% of the company’s revenue.

Management expects this contribution to decline gradually as the company expands its overall customer base.

However, customer concentration remains an important risk for investors to evaluate. A significant reduction in business from a major client could affect revenue and profitability if new customers do not offset the decline.

Customer Retention and Business Challenges

Fusion CX acknowledged that customer churn remains a challenge. Management attributed some customer losses to changes in vendor relationship managers and shifts in clients’ business models.

The company intends to improve retention through stronger execution, differentiated AI solutions and continued expansion of its service offerings.

Its ability to maintain existing customer relationships while attracting new clients will be important to sustaining growth over the coming years.

What Should Investors Watch in the Fusion CX IPO?

Investors evaluating the Fusion CX IPO may want to consider several factors beyond the company’s AI expansion plans.

Key factors to monitor include:

  1. Debt reduction: Whether the company uses the planned proceeds to repay debt as intended.
  2. Profitability: Whether lower borrowing costs translate into improved earnings.
  3. AI investments: Whether new products generate additional revenue and improve operating efficiency.
  4. Acquisition strategy: Whether future acquisitions deliver sustainable growth without creating excessive integration costs.
  5. Customer concentration: Whether the company reduces its dependence on its largest customer.
  6. Customer retention: Whether the company can maintain long-term contracts and reduce customer churn.

The company’s future performance will depend on its ability to execute these plans while managing operational risks and competition in the customer experience industry.

Conclusion

Fusion CX plans to use its IPO proceeds to repay more than 90% of its debt, invest approximately ₹65 crore in AI products and support future acquisitions. The company also aims to balance acquisition-led growth with organic expansion.

While these initiatives could support profitability and business growth, investors should carefully examine the company’s financial statements, valuation, customer concentration, acquisition track record and IPO documents before making an investment decision.
